The compact crossover segment is one of the hottest in North America, which explains why nearly every automaker has such an offering. Lincoln’s compact crossover is the Corsair, which was updated for the 2027 model year with the goal of making it the standard for distinctive American luxury in the category, with each revision carefully implemented to make the Corsair more distinctive, more comfortable, and more luxurious. A continuously variable transmission manages power before sending it to all four wheels through the standard all-wheel-drive system, providing on-road confidence in all forms of weather. 305 horsepower in a vehicle this size might imply the Corsair is a “Hot Rod Lincoln,” but the idea is to have ample power delivered effortlessly when you need it most. This concept of effortless luxury also led Lincoln to provide the BlueCruise hands-free highway driving assistance system as standard on every Corsair. This is the BlueCruise 1.5 system builds upon prior variants by including Automatic Lane Change capability. You are also not expected to pay dearly for the privilege while at the pump. There are no EPA estimated fuel ratings at this point, but MotorTrend published its own estimate of 30/ 33/ 32 MPG city/ highway/ combined, respectively. Lincoln has also updated Corsair’s appearance, though not entirely. The dimensions and proportions remain the same, and the greenhouse still features black B-, C-, and D-pillars, creating a refined, seamless wraparound look across the side and rear windows. But up front, Corsair's grille is reshaped to extend further downward, while the upper portions are pierced on either side by LED DRLs, which underpin slend er headlights. At the back, new tail lamps with embedded Lincoln lettering create a sleek, recognizable signature. Corsair also boasts newly redesigned 18-, 19-, and 20-inch wheels, along with five new exterior colors. The 2027 C orsair is already quite restrained in its use of bright trim, but for those who appreciate an even stealthier appearance, a new Jet Appearance Package is available, blacking out the trim for a bolder, sportier expression. The interior’s dash shape remains unchanged, with both a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a free-standing 13.2-inch center touchscreen neatly integrated into its design. Corsair’s front seatbacks feature a new one-piece design that provides additional comfort, while the top Corsair Reserve trim is available with the Perfect Position front seats previously found on higher Lincoln models. In addition to 24-way adjustment, these seats provide heating, ventilation, and Active Motion® massage. No other model in the class offers seats like these. 2027 also adds a newly available Stellar Sun interior theme, which enhances the richness of Corsair’s interior materials, from Black Satin Ash wood trim to the leather seating surfaces and matching dash and door trim, to even the quality of the headliner. The Corsair is available in Premier and Reserve trims. The Reserve is the upgrade, but both trims are designed to create a cocoon of serenity, putting you at ease no matter how stressful the workday behind or ahead. That last term may not be an “old school” vocabulary word, but both points still tie directly to that “old-school luxury” conclusion. Lincoln hasn’t completely re-invented its two-row premium midsize crossover for the 2027 model year, but it has built upon the qualities that set it apart from its competition, resulting in a vehicle that delivers unparalleled comfort, versatility, and performance. Meanwhile, rear passengers will enjoy nearly class-leading 43.1 inches of legroom. Look closer at the interior, and you may discover the Afterglow interior color theme on Premier and Reserve trims, or a new Hot Chocolate color theme on Nautilus Reserve models. The Black Label trim level features two exclusive interior themes. Eminent Hour, inspired by a desert sunset, includes Tranquil Dusk Menorca seating, Eminent Fade perforation, warm stitching, Eminent Copper Ash open-pore wood, and an Ebony headliner. Elysian is its thematic opposite, inspired by a sunrise over water, with Soft Cloud leather and headliner, Pearl Blue accents, and Pearlescent Ash wood trim. A new Renew Package brings the 24-way Perfect-Position front seats with memory and massage to the Reserve trim. Also new is Lincoln Rejuvenate, which, in Lincoln’s words, creates a calming multisensory experience by combining visuals, audio, seat position, and climate control into a single relaxing experience for use when parked. Digital Scent adds curated fragrances to further personalize the Nautilus cabin. A Nautilus purchase includes four years of the BlueCruise 1.5 hands-free driving system, now featuring seamless automatic lane changes. Lincoln also includes four years of the Lincoln Security Package, offering real-time anti-theft tracking, remote engine lockout, and 24/7 live agent support via the Lincoln app. Underhood is a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 producing 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic and sends power to all four wheels through the standard AWD system. More than half of Nautilus customers have opted for the Nautilus Hybrid drivetrain, which uses a version of the same engine combined with a 100-kW electric motor paired with a continuously variable transmission, for a total system rating of 285 horsepower. 2027 EPA estimates are not yet available, but the 2026 model was rated at 29 in the city, 31 on the highway, and 30 combined. You would be hard-pressed to find a better expression of American Luxury than the 2027 Lincoln Nautilus.
